This event is set for March 1st in Cave Creek, Arizona, and it’s going to be epic. You’ve got three course options. The WAFFLE is 103 miles with 7,500 feet of climbing and 60% off-road, making it a serious test of endurance and grit through the desert foothills. The WAFER is still solid at 68 miles with 4,000 feet of climbing and 50% off-road. And then there’s the WANNA, a 33-mile option with 3,500 feet of climbing and 25% off-road. Still tough, but much more accessible for newer gravel grinders. Expect gorgeous desert views, gnarly gravel sections, and some serious bragging rights once you cross the finish line!
This event is going down on April 27th in San Diego, California, and it’s the OG of BWR events. There are three courses to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. The WAFFLE is the big one: 120 miles, 30% off-road, and over 10,000 feet of climbing. It’s a serious test of endurance, but the payoff is a legendary ride. The WAFER is a little more approachable at 75 miles, with 40% off-road and 6,000 feet of climbing. Then there’s the WANNA, which is 44 miles, 25% off-road, and 4,200 feet of climbing—perfect if you want a taste of the BWR magic. Whichever one you pick, you’re in for stunning views, gnarly climbs, and that one-of-a-kind BWR vibe.
This event is on May 24th in Cedar City, Utah, and it's where gravel dreams and lung-busting climbs collide. The WAFFLE is the big one—127 miles with 92% off-road and 7,500 feet of climbing. It's rugged, raw, and one of the most gravel-heavy BWR courses out there. If you’re not up for the full send, the WAFER is 75 miles with 68% off-road and 3,500 feet of climbing—a perfect mix of challenging and manageable. Then there’s the WANNA, which is a shorter 37-mile option with 25% off-road and 1,600 feet of climbing—still a proper day out, but more accessible. Cedar City’s desert landscapes are unreal, and the course has everything: smooth gravel, rough sections, and big climbs. Whether you’re going all-in or keeping it a bit more 'chill', it’s one of the most stunning BWRs you can ride.
This event is going to be held June 28th-29th, and while the course details are still under wraps, you know it’s going to be a wild ride. Expect the classic BWR vibe with three route options: the WAFFLE (the longest and toughest), the WAFER (a solid middle ground), and the WANNA (short but still a challenge). Montana’s rugged terrain and insane natural beauty are going to make this one unforgettable. Whether you’re in it for the grind or just soaking up the Big Sky vibes, this is the kind of race that sticks with you.
is event is is set for October 3rd-4th, but they're still ironing out the route details after Hurricane Helene shook things up last year. What we do know is there’ll be three options again: the WAFFLE for those ready to suffer through the longest, gnarliest course, the WAFER for a more manageable but still tough challenge, and the WANNA for a shorter hit of the BWR experience. With North Carolina’s mix of terrain and unpredictable conditions, this one’s going to be a proper adventure.
